An emblematic place on the road to Santo André de Teixido
Discover this charming place, a corner full of history and natural beauty, which forms part of the legendary Camino a San Andrés de Teixido. This small enclave has remained a reference point for pilgrims for centuries, and today it continues to be a place that combines heritage, tradition and spectacular landscapes.

One of Porto do Cabo's main attractions is its medieval bridge, a centuries-old stone construction that crosses the river and remembers the area's historic past, and where, until recently, local women known as "caldupeiras" served pilgrims a few cups of broth. Next to them, there are the river muíños, which complete this colourful, rural landscape. These muíños, which in their day were essential to local economic life, have now become a testament to Valdoviño's rich cultural heritage.

Porto do Cabo is also an ideal place for those who enjoy nature. With its peaceful paths and proximity to the coast, it is perfect for lovers of hiking and photography. The natural surroundings, with lush vegetation and views of the hills and the river, create a relaxing atmosphere that invites visitors to stop and enjoy the scenery.
